They say that some of the most remarkable, memorable moments in life are the shortest in time consumption.
Waiting in traffic to enter Express Avenues, I saw a group of three, standing near the entrance, and one of them was pointing in our direction. Not giving much thought to it, I leaned on the door, continuing to chat with my friend. One of the three, a young, sweet-looking thing walked towards us and opened the car's door, that I was leaning on. She didn't hear me calling out to her in the chaos and was ready to step right in, when she saw me there.
I was surprised, but well in my control, knowing its a case of mistaken identity. In turn she was turning red - shocked, surprised and embarrassed all at once. She stepped back, covered her mouth and kept uttering sorrys'. Must be the crowning moment of embarrassment of this life for her.
Her two friends still waiting at the gate and I , laughed our backsides off.
Can't say I ever saw the girl's face completely.
